The PCE Europe team has come up with a fresh kind of gathering for our community — the PCE Europe Community Meetings! These meetings are designed as a lively companion to our biennial Symposium — a way to stay connected, exchange ideas, and keep the PCE spirit alive in the years between Symposiums.
Join the meeting
Community Meetings
Create a space to
• discuss important issues of our profession, organizations, strategies
• think about our identity and our development as an organization (membership, ethics…) and as a community
• concentrate on special topics (ethics, research…)
Roundtables (facilitated by PCE Europe committees, delegates or individual members)
Open discussions in the plenum.
Audience
• delegates, board members and members of organizational members of PCE Europe
• individual members of PCE Europe
• partners of PCE Europe and of the approach
• for all interested in PCE
The focus is on strengthening the community network, stimulating communication and actively contributing to the identity of the approach.
Symposiums
To promote and share
• research
• scientific work
• professional experience and knowledge
A mixture of keynotes and parallel presentations (lectures, workshops…)
Audience
Open to all interested in PCE. The focus is to inform and inspire the community by presenting the contemporary scientific development of our approach.
We think that questions like
What is important for our approach? What do we need to develop more of? How can we improve our European collaboration, e.g. on research projects?
…are important for our community. To discuss this with each other, we need space.
An everyday meeting for individuals with everybody to be together and share their feelings
A general space open to talk about the PCE community. To discuss about identity, culture, ideology, values, bring issues and proposals.
Discussions on specific topics guided by relevant committee members or passionate individuals, addressed to members of similar committees and interested individuals.
Every evening the opportunity to get to know each other better and spend time together. If you want to, bring your own musical instruments!
